If your Phone gets stolen, someone can use your SIM card and run up a huge bill with an other device. You can avoid that by setting a SIM Card Lock.

Go to: Settings > Phone > SIM PIN

If someone tries to insert your SIM Card into another phone, or turns your iphone back on, this PIN will show up to activate it.
