When you are typing a website URL in the address bar of the Safari browser, there’s a special .com key in the keyboard that you can tap to quickly complete the web address.
However, if the website that you are trying to reach doesn’t end with a .com, you can still use that key. Just hold it for a while and it will give you an option to choose other popular TLDs.

You can use an Apple Wireless Keyboard (available separately) for typing on iPad. The Apple Wireless Keyboard connects via Bluetooth.
Once the keyboard is paired with iPad, it connects whenever the keyboard is within range (up to 30 feet). You can tell that the keyboard is connected if the onscreen keyboard doesn’t appear when you tap in a text field. To save the battery, turn off or unpair the keyboard when not in use.
You can use Settings to set the layouts for the onscreen keyboard or for an Apple Wireless Keyboard that you use with iPad. This makes sure, you use the layout and language you’re most comfortable with.
Select keyboard layouts: Settings > General > International > Keyboards, select a language, then choose the layouts.
