Sending a photo or a document to some­one who is right next to you via text or email is fine. But there is a much faster way to do it.

With AirDrop being added in iOS 7 you can quickly and easily share anything from any app with a Share button via Wi–fi

• AirDrop lives on the new iOS 7 Share sheet, and that means it’s accessible from any app that includes the Share button.
• AirDrop will automatic­ally detect any other discover­able iOS 7 users and show you their contact pictures.
• Tap on one or more contacts and AirDrop will send them what­ever it is you want to share.

You’re automatic­ally visible in AirDrop to your contacts running iOS 7. But you can also make yourself visible to anyone nearby using iOS 7 or to no one at all.

Go to: Share Button > AirDrop and select the users you want to be visible for or just open control center

Receive Data

When you receive an AirDrop an alert pops up. If you accept the AirDrop, you’ll be taken directly to the shared item in which­ever app handles its content type.
